Mobile Internet Deployment Enables 500 Women to Register Businesses Online

A new mobile internet deployment initiative, delivered in partnership with local telecom providers, has enabled 500 women entrepreneurs across Northern Uganda to formally register their businesses online.

Using NUWEBIZ’s Financial Literacy Program online portal, participants accessed trade licence guidance, tax compliance information, and credit facility details.

The initiative is expected to expand as connectivity improves across more remote districts.
